Cross Platform and Hybrid App Development Tools are getting more and more powerful. The share of app projects developed with such tools is constantly increasing and many of us have tried some of them already. We want to share our experiences and give you the latest insights directly from Adobe/PhoneGap and Xamarin.

iOS, Android and Windows are the major mobile platforms and each has it’s own development tools and programming language. Native development for the three platforms requires a big skillset and is usually more expensive than cross platform development. Maintenance and keeping up with the platform development can also be difficult, because the platforms and frameworks are evolving quickly. Xamarin and Apache Cordova / PhoneGap are two fundamentally different approaches on how to write code once for multiple platforms. Get insights from the makers of the platforms and from Swiss companies who used these tools in real-life projects.

This is an event organized solely from smama. smama has no relation to Adobe or Xamarin but we see them as two major cross platform development tool vendors. Our main goal is to provide the mobile community in Switzerland with an opportunity to exchange on this topic in depth with leading experts on this topic.
